CLIENT NEEDS

Pet Doctor came to us as they were changing their marketing approach to digital, and were in need of a website redesign to complement that change. Additionally, they needed their site to be fully mobile-responsive, and to adhere to modern search engine optimization practices to drive user acquisition.

OUR APPROACH

We began Pet Doctor's site redesign by asking a couple simple questions: What is the most important thing a user can do on their site, and what is the most important information a user should know?

Pet Doctor's primary goals were to inform the user about their clinic and to increase referrals from their website to their walk-in clinics. We knew we needed to build a solution that was not only flexible—allowing for Pet Doctor to add locations to the website easily as their business grew—but intuitive for the user to navigate and for Pet Doctor to maintain.

OUR SOLUTION

We built Pet Doctor's new, mobile-responsive site on the Umbraco CMS, which allowed for painless content management, development, and expansion.

Primary calls to action were placed at the very top of the page and above the navigation, emphasizing the most crucial interactions a user can make: becoming a new patient and shopping their online pharmacy.

Informative, content-rich pages are coupled with engaging photos and illustrative icons. Generous use of white space keeps the user focused and engaged.

Mobile-responsiveness is built into every single template, which means that Pet Doctor's site is free to expand with little to no developer intervention.

The site is also search engine-optimized, and detailed internet marketing reports are sent to Pet Doctor monthly to keep them informed of their site's performance.
